Devotional Luke 19: The Parable of the Ten Minas and the Talents

Today, I read the parable of the ten minas, about a nobleman who gave each of his servants minas to manage while he went to take possession of a distant kingdom. It is similar to the parable of the talents. Basically, the first two were faithful servants and multiplied the money left with them; the other did not because his master was harsh, taking up what he did not deposit and reaping what he did not sow. In the end, the little he had was taken from him to be given to the one who had more than everyone else. And Jesus said: to everyone who has, more will be given; and from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. So, it is important for us to cultivate and multiply the talents that God has given us. For if we do not use them, He will take them away later. That is how I view these talents that I have.
